NJBB Staff Monthly Review Meeting on 10.10.2017

Staff review meeting started at 02:00 pm on 10-10-2016 in the premises of Navajeevan Yuva Bhavan with a session by Fr. P. Ignatius on Schizophrenia to mark the “WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY”. Fr. made the participants aware of the disease, its symptoms, prevention and cure and also to deal with the persons suffering with the disease.

 

After the session Mrs. Banu was called to introduce the new volunteers greeting them with garlands followed by Fr. Pradeep, Executive Director (I/C) welcoming all of them. Then Mr. Adi Narayana was welcomed to the NJBB family as new driver in Chiguru.

 

Later announcement of newly elected Management Council members was made and Fr. Pradeep wished each and every one the best for the coming one year 2017-2018.

Similarly the old MC members were also called upon and Fr. Pradeep thanked everyone for their contribution in the growth of the organization during their tenure. Later to continue the awareness on mental Health Fr. Pradeep prepared two video with complete information on mental health were screened for the staff.

 

Than Mr. J.N. V. Satyanarayana, Asst. manager and Mr. Narendra, Admin Executive from United India Insurance were welcome to brief about the medical / health policies. They told about how and why such policies are required, how it is applicable and how these policies are helpful to the individuals and their families. They also gave clarifications to the queries of the staff members.

 

After that Fr. John Punnose briefed about the National Seminar & General Body Meeting on Restorative Justice and children held at Guwahati from 19th to 23rd September organized by the Don Bosco National Forum for the Young at Risk.

 

At the end Mr. Raj Kumar, Administrator made the following important announcements;

  • Received Child Care Institution (CCI) certificates for Chiguru, Shelter, RVTC, Mogga, Vimukthi and Deepa Nivas.
  • Maintain and update stock registers and other registers in every center of NJBB or the Child Care Institution (CCI) registration will be cancelled.
  • Admission registers to be maintained in every home and all the relevant documents has to be at the child’s place of stay.
  • Quarterly reports to be sent to J J Dept on time.
  • Submit Kind receipts books to the Accounts department as these receipts are no longer required for accounting.
  • Standard operating Procedures (SOP) to be followed in accounts and submitting accounts
  • Follow the budget to avoid technical issues while filing income tax
  • 25% of local donation to be mobilized by each department as informed in the beginning of the financial year.
  • Indent to be checked before submission and should be submitted along with the requisition signed by the concerned in charge.
  • Special requisitions (If not emergency) to be submitted on 15th of every month.
  • Copy of PAN card is must for the donation above Rs. 10, 000/-
  • Cheque payments to be cleared by the end of each month
  • Cash donations to be handed over to accounts department on the scheduled day and must submit all the donations on the last day of each month
  • Staff leaves to be updated properly in the leave cards duly signed by the concerned in charge / director.
  • Staff must submit medical / fitness certificate to the HR desk before resuming the duties after sick leaves (3 or more than 3days)
