World AIDS Day Rally at Poranki on 01.12.2016

Navajeevan Bala Bhavan organized an awareness meeting and rally at Poranki Panchayath, Penamaluru mandal with the support of Anumolu charitable TRUST and Manchineni charitable trust to mark WORLD AIDS DAY on 1st December 2016.

Apart from the guests, Penamaluru Panchayath PHC Doctors, ANMs, ASHA workers, 100 Neethodu beneficiaries and staff of Neethodu, CSN Urban & Rural with their programme manager Mr. Malleswara Rao attended this event

 

Programme started with a Rally form Poranki panchayath office led by the chief guest Mr. Bode Prasad MLA & Mr. Anumolu Prabhakar Rao (Panchayath vice president & Anumolu charitable TRUST Chairman) followed by all other dignitaries and the members present. Covering nearly 2 km of area including BC Colony, Medara bazaar the rally ended at Manchineni Paramesh Subhadra Complex.

 

After Rally, all gathered at Manchineni Paramesh Subhadra Complex and program Manager Mr. Malleswara Rao convened the programme and welcomed the Guests onto the dais

 

Addressing the gathering Mr. Anumolu Prabhakar said that is not important how HIV has come but to save a child and family is important. He appreciated the services rendered by NJBB by giving good services in providing Nutrition and Educational support, follow up and counseling too, in providing medical and health checkups etc He was happy that the awareness program was conducted in Penamaluru mandal

 

Dr. Subbarao Penamluru PHC said that prevention is better than cure and all should respect the diseased and should not discriminate. Infected people should take good nutritious food, maintain hygiene and take regular medicines given by the Govt. Take preventive measures to stop infection from mother to child to have No HIV child in future.

 

Mr. Murali Krishna MRO appreciated the services of NJBB and urged the beneficiaries to take precautions and maintain health so that they can improve their life span

 

Mr. Bode Prasad MLA,  Penamaluru mandal said that  these days HIV is not a big disease. Those who are suffering from HIV should follow the health tips and have a healthy and nutritious diet and they can improve their life span. Nobody should not feel shame or shy. Treat it also like a fever and go to hospital for check up and maintain personal hygiene. He said that everyone should be strong and self confident. He also appreciated NJBB services in Penamaluru Mandal.

 

Following this Mr. Malleswara Rao Program Manager explained NJBB services through Neethodu project in 40 slums of Vijayawada urban and 10 villages in Penamluru to the gathering. He informed that till today NJBB had identified 150 families and providing education and Nutrition support to the families, home visits and confidential counseling through volunteers and field staff. Main aim of NJBB is to save a child.

 

Later Mr. Bode Prasad, Mr. Anumolu Prabhakar Rao & Mr.  Manchineni Paramesh distributed 100 Blankets and fruits to 100 Neethodu beneficiaries and to all the participants. With vote of Thanks by Mr. Malleshwara Rao the programme was concluded
