Youth Meet at BVK

“Youth Club” was organised on 21/12/2016 for the young boys at NJBB BVK Centre, Autonagar by Mr. Malleshwara Rao and Mr. P. Vijay Kumar with the support of Ms. Sujatha and Mr. Ramesh. Nearly 20 boys working in and around Autonagar were present for the meeting.

Meeting started with the introduction of the boys present and their nature of work. Later discussed about nature of their work, working hours and wages. They were briefed about the labour act and the wages to get according to the act. They all were told the etiquettes at work place and with the employer.

The boys were told about the courses offered at the BVK centre and urged them to inform to their family and neighbours to make use of the courses specially designed for the youth empowerment. They were also told about the family counselling services rendered by the NJBB mainly to the Domestic violence cases and HIV cases through NJBB Hitaishi and Neetodu so that they can inform the people who are in need of such services.

The boys were asked about the difficulties and problems they are facing at the work place or with the employers regarding the wages etc., and assured them that they can approach the BVK centre anytime for any kind of support to deal with the problems at work place. The meeting came to an end with a Cake cutting on the eve of Christmas and everyone parted after greeting each other.
